I love the opening scene where Jones says, “No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his.” Then he sets up Frank Burns, with Duvall reprising his classic role. The best moment, though, is when he parts the Red Sea near the finale.
